Chateau-sur-Mer epitomizes High Victorian architecture, furniture, wallpapers, ceramics and stenciling. It was the most palatial residence in Newport until the appearance of the Gilded Age Vanderbilt houses in the 1890s.

Tickets to visit Chateau-sur-Mer must be purchased online or in person at The Breakers, Marble House, The Elms or Green Animals. The One-Property, Duo and Trio tickets are valid at Chateau-sur-Mer.
Chateau-sur-Mer is not wheelchair-accessible.

History
